A proud moment for our organisation - our custom uniform, designed and created by our Aboriginal Staff.

Our Aboriginal and Islander Cultural Advisors (AICA) presented a new uniform to staff during NAIDOC week 2022. The uniform has been developed using artwork by our staff and their family. The design has representation of Central Australia, the Top End and the work we do.

AICA staff presented the artwork, explaining the significance and symbolism of the different parts of the shirt during morning tea. Staff were encouraged to wear the shirts at the NAIDOC week march and during outreach visits with Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander clients.

The shirt features artwork and contributions from Valarie Aiylocbimin Tambling, Tellisa Ferguson, Craig Le Rossignol, Lauchlan Manski, Sadella Nocketta and George 'Burri' Butler.

Symbolic, meaningful and looks pretty deadly!
