How do I know if I need Support?

We all experience stress and worry differently. There can be emotional, physical and mental symptoms that we need to be aware of.

Stress can create some of the following symptoms:

  • Mental signs can include: forgetting things. Feeling confused. have trouble concentrating, Have trouble making decisions.
  • Physical signs can include headaches, tight muscles, stomach aches, clenching our jaw.
  • Emotional signs can include a mix of feelings. Anxiety, fear, anger, guilt, sadness, depression.
  • Behavioural signs can include irritability, trouble sleeping, sleeping too much. Crying easily, excessive worry. Relying on alcohol or drugs to help feel better or withdrawing from friends and family.

It is natural for us all to feel some stress in the face of COVID-19. If you or a loved one is worried about you. If your daily work is being affected. Or if the signs and symptoms are getting worse seek some professional support.
