Redress Scheme Support Services

We provide free support for people who would like to apply for the National Redress Scheme.  If you experienced sexual abuse as a child under 18 years of age in any institution or school (including sporting club, scouts, orphanages, foster care, religious organisation, group home or clubs) we can support you.

Our support services can:

  • provide information on the Redress Scheme.
  • provide information on who is eligible for the Redress Scheme.
  • support you through the application process.
  • provide information on what to expect through the application process.
  • support you to access legal and financial advice.
  • help you understand your redress outcome.

Who can we help?

People who experienced sexual abuse as a child under 18 years in any institution or school (including sports club, scouts, orphanages, foster care, religious organisation, group home or club), and would like to apply for Redress.

Is there a cost involved?

It’s free, there are no fees involved in this service.

Where can I access this service?

You can access redress services in person in Alice Springs and Darwin or over the phone if you live remote.
