Bringing Up Great Kids – Darwin Course

Do stress and busyness get in the way of you and the children in your care? Have you found yourself doing things as a parent you said you never would? Does the behaviour of your child at times confound and utterly frustrate you?

Every child, parent and family are different, this course provides the opportunity to think about yourself, as a parent, about how you respond to your child and what your child’s individual needs might be given their age, gender order of birth and other factors.

The course covers the topics:

  • understanding the impact of and practical ways to relieve stress in yourself and child, the importance of calmness and ways to increase calm
  • exploring children’s age-related behaviour, the potential meanings behind it and how best to respond as their career
  • children’s emotional development from birth to age 10 and how this impacts on parenting. Plus much more.



4-hour workshop for 3 weeks.

Total course duration: 12 hours



Day 1 – Wednesday 15th, 12:30-4:30pm

Day 2 – Wednesday 22nd, 12:30-4:30pm

Day 3 – Wednesday 29th, 12:30-4:30pm


Day 1 – Tuesday 10th, 9am-1pm

Day 2 – Tuesday 17th, 9am-1pm

Day 3 – Tuesday 24th, 9am-1pm

Who can we help?

This course is for parents of young children, from babies through the primary school years.

Is there a cost involved?

$220 per couple or $150 per person

Fees may be lowered in situations of considerable financial hardship.

This course is run from our Darwin office.
