DRUMBEAT Group Facilitator – Part Time

An exciting opportunity exists to join the staff of RA-NT, delivering the DRUMBEAT group program to children (9-12yrs) in the Katherine region.

 

DRUMBEAT is a music program that explores relationship issues and specific themes including self-responsibility, values, dealing with emotions, identity, peer pressure, harmony and teamwork. It promotes social understanding and connection through a team drumming experience. It is fun, safe, creative, engaging and rewarding. Participants lift their self-esteem, learn to work cooperatively and are exposed to the therapeutic and recreational benefits of music

RA-NT provides excellent support, supervision, professional development entitlements (of up to $3,000 per annum) and generous PBI salary sacrificing ($15,899 additional tax free threshold) pro-rata.

Applicants will require extensive screening, referee checks, identity check, Ochre Card and Criminal History check. Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
